Inside the project
The project is registered under Verra's VCS (project 1650) and the CCB Standard, using methodology VM0015, and is developed and implemented by the Wildlife Conservation Society.
The developer's own framing channels carbon-credit revenue back to local communities through a 'Cash for Communities' mechanism.
Verra's registry names the Royal Government of Cambodia's Ministry of Environment as proponent of VCS 1650 and, as viewed in September 2026, shows 18,874,424 units issued and 15,405,351 retired.
