Overview

Inside the project

Its stated target is restoring one million hectares between 2015 and 2035 through four approaches: conserving natural forest, restoring riparian buffers, restoring degraded land outright, and building sustainable commercial forestry.

By its own reporting, more than 5 million native trees have been planted nationwide with a 70% survival rate, and restoration work has begun on more than 40,000 hectares.
