What they do

Inside CoMapeo (Mapeo)

Mapeo lets communities collect georeferenced observations (GPS, photos, notes) fully offline, syncing peer-to-peer with no central server.

It is widely deployed for Indigenous territorial monitoring and threat documentation in the Amazon.

A Mapeo-for-ICCAs effort was co-built with UNEP-WCMC and Forest Peoples Programme.
