KoboToolbox lets field teams build forms and collect data (GPS, photos, structured answers) on common Android devices with the KoboCollect app, then sync when connectivity returns.
It sits in the OpenRosa ecosystem alongside ODK and Ona, and exposes a REST API plus exports (CSV, XLS, GeoJSON, KML) so collected data flows cleanly into downstream systems.
It is widely adopted, with use reported by tens of thousands of organisations across 220-plus countries, and Straatos already integrates it as a ground-truth source.
