Zagtouli Solar Power Plant

AFD described Zagtouli, south-west of Ouagadougou, as the biggest solar plant in West Africa and the first in Burkina Faso when it was built in 2017. Financed by AFD and the EU, it can produce enough energy to supply 5% of the country's needs.
