Overview
Inside the project
UNEP's own account frames it against Pakistan's roughly 5% forest cover, compared with a 31% global average, and the country's high vulnerability to climate-driven erosion and flooding.
As of UNEP's 2021 report, the programme had just reached the milestone of planting its billionth tree.
