Tanzania Domestic Biogas Programme (TDBP)

The Tanzania Domestic Biogas Programme, begun in 2009 as Tanzania's component of the Africa Biogas Partnership Programme, is managed by SNV. A prior phase installed 12,000 biodigesters benefiting more than 70,000 people, and a 2016-2017 phase added 10,000 more plants with support from Tanzania's Rural Energy Agency.
