Overview
Inside the project
The project uses two planting strategies in parallel: mixed-species 'Framework Tree Planting' on 75% of the area and lower-intensity 'Nucleation' assisted regeneration on the rest.
It is funded by the Amazon Biodiversity Fund and L'Oréal's Fund for Nature Regeneration and works with 600 landowners, targeting 24,516 tonnes of CO2e sequestration a year.
