Overview

Inside the project

The registry estimates 20,812 tonnes of CO2 equivalent in annual emission reductions, with 91,072 certified emission reductions issued between 2013 and 2020.

WEACT PTY LTD of Australia is registered as the other CDM project participant, purchasing credits bilaterally under the mechanism's small-scale category for grid-connected renewable electricity.

Objectives

  • Generate grid-connected renewable electricity at small-hydro scale
  • Issue certified emission reductions under the CDM

Approach

  • The project is registered under the CDM using a 'grid connected renewable electricity generation' methodology at small-scale (15 MW or under) activity scale.
