Luz en Casa Amazonía Micro-Grid Pilot Project

The Spanish foundation acciona.org, through its Peru programme ACCIONA Microenergía Perú, replaced a diesel generator in the isolated Amazonian community of Copal Urco with a 33.5 kWp solar PV micro-grid and 110 kWh of lithium battery storage, managed day-to-day by a local Micro-grid Electrification Committee.
