Hariharpurgadi Wind-Solar Hybrid Mini-Grid
Nepal's Alternative Energy Promotion Centre switched on what the Asian Development Bank called the country's largest wind-solar hybrid system in Hariharpurgadi village, Sindhuli district: a 20 kW turbine and 15 kWp of panels producing 110 kWh a day against an 87 kWh daily village demand, serving 83 households.

Objectives
- Provide reliable electricity to a village outside grid reach through a wind-solar hybrid mini-grid
- Meet daily village demand from combined wind and solar generation
Approach
- A 20 kW wind turbine and 15 kWp of solar panels together produce about 110 kWh a day, against the village's 87 kWh daily demand.
