Inside the project

The financing, approved in November 2023, was arranged with IFC and Banco del Estado de Chile alongside IDB Invest's own USD 127 million, 13-year loan.

The operator estimates the fleet will displace about 31,000 tonnes of CO2 a year compared to the diesel buses it replaces.
