Inside the project
Quadriz developed it with Ostrya Conservation Inc. and Atenil S.A., reaching VCS+CCB Gold Level registration in March 2023 and completing its first verification in June 2023.
The project projects net reductions of 5.6 million tonnes of CO2e over its first 10-year accreditation period.
Verra's registry describes a grouped project whose first instance covers about 32,000 hectares of privately owned Chaco land, with the intention to scale past 200,000 hectares; as viewed in September 2026 it shows 1,981,988 units issued and 1,679,341 retired, with a verification approval requested.
Objectives
