Guinea-Bissau's 2021 updated NDC, submitted on 12 October 2021, targets a 10% unconditional and 30% conditional emissions reduction by 2030, spanning agriculture, coastal zones, energy, ecosystems, water, forests, health, infrastructure and disaster-risk management, at an implementation cost estimated near USD 664 million. The country frames its NDC as positioning it "within new carbon market mechanisms foreseen in Article 6."
